The Most Aesthetic Coffee Shop In Mississippi
Cat Island coffee house in Pass Christian, MS may be one of my favorite coffee shops yet (and I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops). The shop is perched up on a small overlook on the Mississippi coast. The house-like shop is inviting with its large windows and wrap around porch. It is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise over the ocean. Upfront in the small town, it is comforting and cozy.
I first visited the coffee shop on a work trip to the coast. I could have dedicated my entire trip to this little shop. The coffee shop doubles as a book store and is filled head to toe with books. The upstairs loft is dedicated to Mississippi authors and books. Sunlight overwhelms the space. It is bright and airy. It is an escape.
Besides the coffee being amazing and the latte pours being beautiful, the book selection is perfectly curated. From cook books to novels, every section is thoughtfully placed.
The shop has multiple seating areas; There is the main area, a loft, and the porch. I made sure to try out each section. Sitting in the loft was so enjoyable because you can watch the hustle and bustle. The view perfectly shows the baristas in action.
If you are a coffee lover and on your coffee journey, you must stop here.
