Itinerary: West Palm Beach Bachelorette

Last night, I returned from an unforgettable bachelorette trip to West Palm Beach, and I couldn't wait to share my itinerary! Last August, I visited Palm Beach for the first time and got engaged in the gardens of The Breakers hotel. Naturally, when it came time to plan my bachelorette getaway, I knew I had to return and share these cherished spots with my friends.

Before diving into the details, I want to highlight that Palm Beach is the perfect destination for those seeking variety in their vacation. Whether you're looking to lounge on the beach all day or explore a wealth of activities, Palm Beach offers something for everyone.

Where to Stay:

We stayed at The Pink Palm Beach, a charming Airbnb hosted by Gwendolyn, who happens to be a talented wallpaper designer! The place was absolutely perfect. With three spacious bedrooms, we had plenty of room to relax and unwind. We especially loved the variety of spaces to enjoy, from the cozy screened porch to the beautiful backyard garden and pool.

Day 1:

Day 1 was all about getting settled. Our original plan was to arrive around noon, relax by the pool, pick up takeout for dinner, pop open a bottle of wine, and dive into some bachelorette festivities. But, as with most travel days, we hit a few bumps—flight delays and baggage issues meant we didn’t make it to the house until 4 PM, and it was pouring rain.

We had to pivot, but it all worked out. We made a quick stop at Publix to grab essentials, then headed to Havana Cuban Restaurant for takeout! We indulged in a variety of delicious dishes, from Cuban sandwiches and empanadas to fried sweet plantains, tres leches, and tostones a la milanesa. Honestly, everything on their menu is incredible. They have a walk-up window where you can order fresh pastries or wait for your food. While you're there, you can even watch them make the empanadas through the window. I highly recommend the cheese empanada, a guava pastry, and of course, tres leches—my forever favorite!

Day 2:

Day 2 was dedicated to shopping—because what’s a girls' trip without a little retail therapy? Being storm season, we woke up to the soothing sound of rain and took our time easing into the day. Once the rain let up and we’d finished our coffee, we went for a leisurely walk around the neighborhood. Our first stop was Swifty’s at The Colony Hotel for lunch. We sat outside with a view of the pool, enjoying the lively atmosphere with a DJ spinning fun tunes. To our surprise, we were greeted with a bottle of champagne, a sweet gift from my mom!

The vibe at this restaurant and hotel is perfect for a girls' getaway—it feels like Lily Pulitzer herself designed the place. With pinks and greens everywhere, gorgeous wallpaper, and even a Dolce & Gabbana hotel store, it’s a must-see.

We started our meal with Swifty’s Crushed Avocado, which was the best take on guacamole I’ve ever had. The chips were drizzled with agave syrup and seasoned with chili, giving the guacamole an incredible contrast and depth of flavor. For my entrée, I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken—it was so fresh and the chicken was perfectly cooked. It was the ideal light, refreshing meal to enjoy by the pool.

After lunch, the rain returned, so we took refuge at The Colony’s charming Pink Paradise Cafe, where I ordered my usual—a vanilla latte with oat milk. Once the skies cleared, we strolled down Worth Avenue, popping into shops and soaking in the beautiful post-rain Florida weather. After some retail therapy, we hopped back into our rental car (which I highly recommend for getting around) and took a scenic drive around the Island, admiring the stunning homes and lush landscapes.

Next on our itinerary was a visit to The Breakers! Even if you’re not staying or dining there, it’s worth a stop. As one of the oldest resorts in the country, it’s brimming with character and charm. The lobby alone is a breathtaking sight. If you’re feeling hungry, they offer a variety of excellent restaurants both on and off-site. After exploring the grounds, we made our way to the Seafood Bar for drinks.

By this point, everyone needed a break to recharge before dinner, so we headed back to the Airbnb to rest up. For dinner, we had reservations at Cucina, a fantastic spot serving Italian cuisine with a touch of local seafood. I had the bolognese, one of us ordered the salmon, and two others went for the evening’s special. We started with the meatballs and arancini, both of which were divine. The drinks were equally impressive—we alternated between the Whatthemelon and skinny margaritas. At 10 PM, the vibe shifted as the restaurant transformed into a lively club. We had an absolute blast with the amazing drinks and music. Honestly, you don’t need to go anywhere else!

Day 3:

Day 3 was for well needed relaxation before heading home. Again it was raining when we woke up, so we took our time, sitting to enjoy the rain and drink coffee. Once the skies cleared, we went for a quick stroll toNorthwood Coffee. And yes, you guessed it—I ordered my usual vanilla latte with oat milk.

For this day, we booked beach day passes through ResortPass at Eau Palm Beach giving us access to their pool, beach chairs, and amenities. It was absolutely worth it—not having to worry about setting up chairs or finding a spot to sit was a huge relief. They also offered beachside drink service, but we all opted for a well-deserved beach nap instead. Swimming in the ocean was wonderful! The water was crystal clear, though a bit rough, with large rocks underwater, so be mindful of that.

For lunch, we dined at the poolside restaurant, Ocean Breeze Kitchen, and it was lovely. The ocean breeze and yellow umbrellas created the perfect atmosphere. We shared guacamole again, and I had the taco sampler, which was delicious.

If you couldn’t guess we needed some chill time before dinner.

On the drive back to the airbnb we stopped at Hive for a pick me up. I had the lemon loaf and the hivebiscous refresher. It is a super cute spot for coffee and pastries!

For dinner, we had reservations at Lola 41! Although their menu offers a variety of options, we focused on the Asian-inspired dishes. We started with the King Crab Rangoons and Miso Soba Salad—both were fantastic. Our entrées were a mix of flavors, including the Korean Beef Bulgogi, Macaroni and Cheese, Yutaka Roll, and Anita Roll. For dessert, we shared the Yuzu Key Lime Pie, which was the perfect finishing touch.

The atmosphere at Lola 41 was upscale yet relaxed, striking a perfect balance between chic and comfortable. We’d definitely return!

Day 4:

This was one of those trips you just never want to end. We were all having such a great time, and there was so much more we could have done! We spent most of the morning packing up and following the checklist for our airbnb. For an easy lunch, we headed to Pura Vida where we got coffees, breakfast sandwiches, light salads, and paninis. We then spent the rest of the trip walking around the Square Palm Beach and The Royal Poinciana Plaza.

We then dropped of the rental car and headed home!
